Contract Finance Administrator – up to 12hrs/wk. Flexible hours as needed within the monthly reporting cycle and to meet operational needs.
Description: Reporting to the Finance Committee of the Board, the Finance Administrator is responsible for managing all financial administration, payroll, and financial reporting for the Kootenay Boundary Community Services Co-operative (KBCSC).
- Degree or Diploma in finance and administration or equivalent education, training and/or experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in accounting/bookkeeping in non-profit sector. Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and employment deductions and financial statements, Data Entry, Sage 50 software
- Must possess good fundamental understanding in all facets of accounting and be proficient in computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Experienced in benefits administration
Contract Rate: Commensurate to knowledge and experience.
